Bernie Oldham is a Human Resource professional (CHRP) with over20 years experience representing the interest of both the employer and unionized employees.  He has been the President of Meta-Mediation Services Inc. since 2004.  His practice covers a wide range of issues with focus on employment issues, labour relations matters, and automobile accident benefit claims and litigation.  He is a Roster Mediator with the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program and has acquired extensive experience conducting hundreds of mediations during his years of practice.

Bernie studied at Laurentian University, received his mediation training at York University, Osgoode Hall Law School, received Arbitration training at Queens University, trained at Harvard University in advanced negotiations skills, and is a graduate of the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto in Advanced Human Resource Management.  He holds the CHRP designation.  He also received training in the Civil Justice System at Stitt Feld Handy Group.

As a former Director of Labour/Employee Relations for a major hydro utility, Bernie had direct responsibility for all aspects of labour/employee relations, and provided internal mediation/facilitation services.

Bernie was a full time Union Representative and Chief Negotiator for a major public sector union and a member of their National Executive Board.  He is a current member of HRPAO and ADR Institute of Ontario.
